On the TEEđź“Ť: Part 1

Thursday Everyday Evangelism

The Great Commission

The Scripture:

Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

The Devotional:

Can you believe it's been over 2,000 years since Jesus gave us the Great Commission? Yet, His words still ring true today. We're called to go out and make disciples, sharing the good news of salvation with everyone we meet.

You might be thinking – “I'm just a regular Joe (or Jane). How can I possibly make a difference?" Well, let me tell you, it's not about being a fancy preacher or having all the answers. It's about being willing to share your story and the love of Christ with others.

The Point to Ponder:

We live in a city that's hurting, a world that's searching for hope and purpose. And we've got the greatest news of all time – that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, offering us eternal life! So, let's not keep that good news to ourselves. Let's be bold and courageous, stepping out in faith to share the love of Christ with our neighbors, our coworkers, and even strangers we meet along the way.

Start a conversation with someone this week about your faith journey. Share how Jesus has impacted your life and invite them to church or a small group.
— The Dare

The Reflection:

What fears or hesitations do you have about sharing your faith, and how can you overcome them with God's help?
