On the TEEπŸ“: Part 8

Thursday Everyday Evangelism

The Power of Community

The Scripture:

Acts 2:46-47 "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

The Devotional:

Have you ever stopped to think about the power of community? In the early days of the church, believers gathered together daily, breaking bread and praising God with glad and sincere hearts. And you know what? The Lord added to their number daily of those who were being saved.

There's something special about the body of Christ coming together in unity and fellowship. When we gather as a community of believers, it's not just a social club or a weekly routine – it's a powerful witness to the world around us. It's a tangible expression of the love and grace we've found in Christ, and it can be a powerful draw for those who are seeking something more.

The Point to Ponder:

When we come together and love one another, when we support and encourage each other, and when we lift our voices in praise and worship, it's a glimpse of the Kingdom of God here on earth. And that kind of community can be a beacon of hope and light in a world that's often filled with darkness and division.

β€œInvite someone to join you for a church event or small group gathering this week. Let them experience the warmth and fellowship of the body of Christ firsthand.”
— The Dare

The Reflection:

How has being part of a community of believers impacted your faith journey, and how can you better extend that sense of community to others?
